In the course of the committee
sitting it was declared that the Bill (Reg. No.4401) suggests implementation of
the computer-aided subdivision order of the cases between judges based on
random distribution. It is to be implemented in the course of the criminal
cases, statements of claim, appeals, petitions, complaint registration in
courts.
Relevant amendments are to be introduced into the Law "On Judicial System of Ukraine." Pursuant to the amendments "defining of the judge or the board of justices for the scrutiny of a separate case is made automatically by the computer-aided document control system in the course of the registration of documents due to the random distribution principle."
In the course of the meeting it was emphasized that the order of formation and functioning of computer-aided document control system is determined by the State Juridical Administration of Ukraine with the coordination of Judges Council.
The Bill also contains principles on grounds register for the judge discharge.
